The Caeleste team gathered last week to celebrate the successful first image of one of our most recently tested projects, a flash-LIDAR image sensor for space applications, code-named ‘FLAMES’.
Developed in collaboration with SINTEF, and under European Space Agency – ESA Contract No. 4000138083/22/NL/AR, FLAMES provides a flash-LIDAR for space applications for controlled soft vehicle landing, navigation of rovers and in-flight rendezvous of spacecraft.
