Characterization Engineer
You will join the characterization & test team that is responsible for the functional validation, characterization and production test of our image sensor prototypes & products. For this position we are looking for junior engineers with great potential. You will have the opportunity to grow according to your capabilities and aspirations. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the development & production of new CMOS image sensors through characterization of image sensor devices and test structures. Your responsibilities are diverse and include electro-optical image sensor characterization, functional validation of new designs & processes, optimization of operating conditions and performance limitations, investigation and understanding of image artifacts, development of new test methods and systems, contributing to technical reports and customer interactions.
Job specific requirements:
- Bachelor or Master in (Micro-)Electronics Engineering, Physics or equivalent by experience
- Basic knowledge of CMOS technology and mixed-signal analog/digital electronics
- Fast learner of theoretical concepts to master and discuss with internal experts
- Knowledge of electronic test & qualification equipment
- Understanding of programming test procedures and flows in Python
- Creativity, accuracy and being result driven are valued
- Good communication skills in English in writing and presenting
- Accountable & committed team player
Additional skills that are of interest:
- Special interest in image sensors & test systems in a production context
- Awareness of electro-optical characterization or evaluation of image sensors
- Understanding of image sensor packages, surrounding electronics, ADCs, DACs, PLLs
- Working language is English, any other language is a plus
