Characterization Engineer

As a characterization engineer at Caeleste, you are part of our multidisciplinary engineering team and you work closely together with the application engineers

of our customers.

In this role, your responsibilities include

  • Electro-optical image sensor characterization:
  • Functional validation of new designs & processes
  • Optimization of operating conditions and performance limitations
  • Investigation, understanding and solving image artifacts
  • Writing technical reports
  • Development of new test methods and systems
  • Customer and subcontractor interactions (e.g. discussion of test results)

What do we expect from our new colleague?

  • You have a master’s degree in (Micro)Electronics Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Nanotechnology or a related field.
  • You are a fast learner of theoretical concepts, with a proactive attitude towards learning.
  • You are a team player with a no-nonsense attitude, and strong writing and presenting skills in English.
  • You are an active contributor to continuous improvement.
  • You have a solid understanding of programming methodologies with consistent adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • You are familiar with writing technical documents.
  • You have experience with and technical understanding of measurement equipment.
